A spokesman has confirmed that none of the 137 passengers were injured during the flight on the 30th January 2015.
This incident has only now been made public after a report by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB), was published.
According to the report, the flight crew during decent asked air traffic control if there were any reports of turbulence. They were informed there was light to moderate turbulence. The captain then advised his cabin crew there could be turbulence and asked them to secure the cabin. Within minutes of the warning, the aircraft suffered two short encounters of air turbulence.
