Ryanair Are Trying To Be Nicer To Their Customers And It’s Working
For such a long time now Ryanair has been known as one of the leading unfriendly airlines in the UK, and possibly the world. With some of their shocking customer service and their disregard in looking after their customers, they have become the airline to avoid. However, things are now changing.
Ryanair Changing Opinions
The Chief Executive of Ryanair Michael Kevin O’Leary decided last year he wanted to change people’s opinions of the cheap flights airline. With all the bad press that the airline was receiving on a weekly basis and due to the loss of customers, he decided it was time to make some serious changes.
Instead of being known as a company that provides a Jeremy Clarkson style customer service, he wanted his airline to be known as a friendly airline that travellers could trust. After many meetings, Michael O’Leary started to make some serious changes, and now it seems to be working.
In the past 12 months, bookings have risen by 12% with a total of 91.8 million passengers. The airline was pleased to announce they have carried 1.2 million more passengers in April than they did in the same month last year.
A spokesman for Ryanair said it was down to better customer service and lower fares. However, will the airline be able to keep up with the good customer service or will they come off the wagon and turn back into the airline everyone loves to complain about.
