Spain Is The Number One Holiday Destination
That’s probably not much of a surprise to anybody but let’s not beat around the bush here, holidays have become more expensive in recent years. Some have said this is down to Thomson and First Choice being allowed to become one; others have said it is down to the fine system that stops parents taking their children out of school. Some have even said it is down to High Street Travel Agents greed!
One thing is for sure, thousands of families have been unable to afford a holiday in recent years.
Now, thanks to the Euro giving people more for their money, Spain has become a hot spot for holidaymakers looking for a cheap bargain. With hotels coming down in price, cheap flights being made available and now the Euro exchange rate giving holidaymakers more holiday money, there has never been a better time to book a holiday.
The popular destinations in Spain for cheap holidays are Benidorm, Tenerife, and Lanzarote. These destinations have always been popular, but Tenerife and Lanzarote over the past couple of years have been expensive. Now, people can go to Lanzarote or Tenerife from as little as £300 for a week’s all-inclusive.
A spokesman for UKairportcarparks.co.uk said: “UK holidaymakers are getting great value at the moment. With cheaper flights, lower priced Spanish holidays, great airport car parking deals, more people will now be able to afford to go abroad.”
Going abroad has now become so cheap it can be more affordable than staying in the UK. However, there is a problem. Although hotel prices have come down thanks to the Euro, some High Street Travel Agents do not seem to be passing on the savings to the customer. To find cheap hotels and flights, it is advisable to go online and book directly with the airline and the hotels.
To make the holiday even cheaper, when booking direct with a hotel in Spain pay in Euro and not in GBP. By doing this, the hotel will be much cheaper.
