Roadworks will be affecting traffic along the nearby A453 from Saturday 5 to Sunday 12th of February. This isn't the main route to the airport, unless you're coming from Nottingham city centre, but you should know that there may be an increase in traffic in the area.   The Best Western Premier Yew Lodge is located just two miles from East Midlands airport   The hotel requests that guests do not check-in before 2pm. On the day of departure please ensure you have vacated your room by 11am.   Enjoy an utterly scrumptious meal at the Orchard Restaurant. The restaurant offers fine cuisine with a tasty selection of three-course meals and breakfast options. If you are looking for a light lunch this is served in the restaurant between noon and 2pm. For your evening meal, why not start with Stilton and pear pannacotta with pickled walnuts and rocket? For main, you could choose chargrilled ribeye steak with potatoes, shallots and thyme, or Derbyshire pork belly served with rhubarb, apple and black pudding. And if you can squeeze it in what about dessert? How about Textures of Chocolate? Enjoy parfait, fondant, sorbet and a chocolate shot. Or something a bit more fruity? Tropical fruit pannacotta? You can enjoy all this between 6.30pm and 9.30pm from Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday until 9pm. Start your day off with the full works: egg, bacon, sausage and beans. It's the best way to start the day. Enjoy breakfast from 6.30am to 9.30am on weekdays and from 7.30am to 10am at weekends.
