Security Measures
Edinburgh Long Stay is frequently patrolled by security staff and protected by CCTV, barriers, a high fence and lighting. Edinburgh Long Stay has also been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To be awarded the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police to prove that they have good security measures and are clean and well-lit.
Arrival Procedure
The car park has automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) - so make sure you give us the correct car registration number when you book. Once the machine at the barrier recognises your number plate, it will give you a ticket with your number plate and booking reference printed on it. Keep the ticket safe as you'll need it when you leave the car park. If the barrier doesn't lift automatically, you should press the intercom button. Park your car, making a note of which zone you're parked in and which is the nearest bus stop. Then just wait at the bus stop for the transfer bus.

Edinburgh Long Stay, Gogar Bridge Road, Edinburgh Airport, Edinburgh, EH12 9DN
Information
You need to give us your car registration number either when you book, or sometime before you go. It needs to be the right one - if you change the car you're going to be travelling in, you need to give us the new details. You must do this, or the car park will charge you £10 when you leave, because if they don't have the right registration number, it holds things up when you arrive and leave. If you need any extra days' parking, the car park will charge you for the extra days at its normal rate. If you leave the car park early, and don't use all the days that you booked, unfortunately we can't give you a refund. There is no longer a manned kiosk at this car park. If you have any problems at the entrance and exit barriers, please use the intercom system for help.
Departure Procedures
The transfer bus will take you back to the car park. You just need to drive to the exit barrier and put your ticket in the slot, and the barrier will let you out. If this doesn't work, just press the intercom button. Make sure you have a copy of your booking confirmation with you.
