Security Measures
Edinburgh Long Stay is manned 24 hours a day and frequently patrolled by security staff. The site has comprehensive CCTV, high fencing and security lighting. Edinburgh Long Stay has also been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To achieve the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police to prove that they have modern security measures and are clean and well-lit.
Arrival Procedure
On entry into the Edinburgh Long Stay car park, please take a ticket from the barrier and park your car in an available space. Please make a note of zone and nearest bus stop as this will help on your return to the car park.

Information
Please note that parking charges are calculated in 24 hour periods, from the time you arrive at the car park until the time you depart. If your actual stay is longer than your booked stay, you will be charged extra on departure at the car park's standard daily rate. No refund will be issued for part used stays and any additional time will be charged at the local gate rate.

Transfers
Transfers take three minutes and run every 10 to 12 minutes. They are included in the price and run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you need a transfer to the terminal between 11pm and 5am, you should report to the customer services office in the car park or press the help button on the payment machine. When you return from holiday, follow the signs for the transfer buses back to the car park. The bus picks up outside the front of the terminal from stand 20. If you need a transfer back to the car park between 10pm and 6am, you should call the car park, using the free phone in domestic arrivals.

The car park indemnifies customers for damage resulting from any proven act or negligence on part of its servants or agents, otherwise parking is at owners own risk.

On arrival at the car park, simply take a ticket at the barrier and park your car in any available space. Then take a courtesy bus transfer to the terminal; these run every ten minutes, 24 hours a day, with a journey time of just five minutes. When you return from your trip, present your ticket and quote your booking confirmation number at the car park's Customer Service office in order to exit.
