There is no parking space at the hotel for guests. You'll need to park overnight in the car park next door, which normally costs £25, but if you get the hotel reception to validate your ticket before you pay it'll be reduced to £20. All triple and family rooms are non-smoking. Unfortunately, there is no space for cots in triple, quad and family rooms, or in double or twin rooms if you upgrade to an executive or deluxe room.
The hotel is located on the airport and is connected to the South Terminal by a covered walk way.
Earliest check-in time is 3pm, unless otherwise arranged. Latest check-out time is noon, unless otherwise arranged.
It’s worth staying overnight at the Gatwick Hilton just to enjoy the food. The hotel has two excellent restaurants, two bars serving food and a Costa coffee shop offering cakes and hot drinks. Dinner in the light and spacious Garden Restaurant won’t disappoint. We recommend the buffet, a nightly banquet of more than 100 dishes, from seafood starters and salads to roasts from the carvery and Mediterranean and Asian dishes. There’s also a whole counter of delicious desserts and an extensive drinks menu. You could eat here every night for a month and never have the same meal twice. And what's more, although it's normally £25.95 per person, you can book with us on the next page for just £22 a head. There's also an a la carte menu, which features the Hilton burger, flash-fried tiger prawns and succulent Scottish steaks, as well as curries, pizzas and pasta dishes. Prices start from £6.50 for a starter, £10.95 for a main course and £7.50 for a dessert. We’d opt for the goat’s cheese and chargrilled vegetable terrine, followed by the smoked salmon farfalle with tomato and dill cream, and finally marmalade bread and butter pudding with vanilla custard – yum. The restaurant is open from 6pm until 10.30pm. Children under 10 eat free - from a special children's menu created by child nutrition expert Annabel Karmel - as long as they're eating with an adult, while children 10 and over pay half price. There’s also Amy’s Restaurant, an elegant establishment with a menu of classic meat and fish dishes and interesting-sounding desserts - pear mousse caught our eye. We’d start with the potato gnocchi and wild mushroom with rocket pesto and parmesan, before moving on to the butternut squash and rosemary lasagne with asparagus and goat’s cheese (the only vegetarian option) - and finally we’d love to try the Pina Colada dessert. Amy’s is open from 6pm to 10.45pm, and prices start from £19.95 for a main course, £8.95 for a starter and £7.25 for a dessert. After dinner, sip a cocktail in Amy’s Bar, which is open until 2am, or watch sport on the big screen TVs in Charlie Fry’s Sports Bar until 11pm. Costa Coffee is open from 5am to 7pm. The buffet breakfast in the Garden Restaurant is world-class – a huge and delicious spread including hot food, cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit salads, a dozen different types of cereal and much more. It’s served from 5.30am to 10.30am - and again, you can book with us on the next page for just £12 per person, as opposed to the hotel's normal price of £18.95, or £13.95 for just the continental buffet.
