Security Measures
Like all Airparks sites, Airparks Gatwick is fully secured, with CCTV, barriers, a high fence, lighting and regular patrols. All Airparks sites hold the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To be awarded the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police and show that they have good security measures and are clean and well-lit.
Arrival Procedure
Stay in the left lane - the barrier will lift automatically to let you in. Park your car in one of the arrivals bays and make a note of the lane number. Then make your way to reception. You'll be asked to confirm your booking reference, and your car and flight details, so we advise, as always, bringing a copy of your booking confirmation with you. You'll also be given a receipt for your car, which will have instructions on the back for what to do when you get back from holiday. Then just put your car keys in the red box for your lane number. Airparks staff will park your car for you so you can catch the transfer bus to the airport. The bus leaves from reception and calls at both terminals. If you're running late, don't panic. Airparks Gatwick can take you and your luggage straight to the terminal in your own car, which a member of staff will then drive back to the car park and park for you as normal. This service is called Late To Airport and costs £25.

Information
If you're not looking forward to returning from holiday, let Airparks lift your spirits by cleaning your car. Book a bronze, silver or gold valet when you make your booking or when you arrive at the car park, and you'll come home to a car that looks as good as new. We recommend that you give yourself 45 minutes to drop your car and keys off and transfer to the airport. Bikes, surfboards, canoes and other large objects that won't fit into the luggage racks can't be carried on Airparks buses. If you are bringing large items with you, we suggest you drop them off at the airport before you park your car. Remember to check with your airline that you will be able to take them on the plane. If you park for more days than you booked, the car park will charge you for the extra days at its normal rate. If you stay for fewer days than you booked, unfortunately we can't give you a refund. The car park has toilets with baby changing facilities, and a luggage weighing machine.
Departure Procedures
If you're at the South terminal, turn left out of the terminal and wait at bus stop 7 or 8, about 25 yards from the exit. If you're at the North terminal, turn right out of the terminal and follow signs for buses. Wait at bus stop 6 or 7. When you get back to Airparks, you'll need to show your parking ticket at reception, and then you'll be able to collect your car. But if all you really want is to head home straightaway, book our Airparks Return Greet package and have your car brought to the terminal for you.
