Security Measures
The compound where your car is stored has twenty four hour security with CCTV, regular patrols and full security barriers. This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. Park Mark awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.
Arrival Procedure
Please confirm with Airparks when you are within 20 minutes of arriving at your designated terminal. Phone 01293 842903 and your chauffeur will then be dispatched to meet you at your designated terminal. If you are arriving via the M25 please phone prior to taking the M23. It is important to keep Airparks informed of any delays. Should you be unable to phone on your journey, the chauffeur will be dispatched to meet you at the booked time, where they will wait for only 15 minutes. If you have not given us the terminal information at the time of booking then please call 01293 842903 at least 24 hours before arrival. Please note that on meet for departure the driver will be required to complete a vehicle inspection report that identifies any damage or marks on your vehicle and you will be asked to sign the report. Your car will be checked by our staff and timed digital photographs will be taken of any marks or damage. Should you fail to leave adequate time to complete this process Airparks cannot be held responsible for any claims in respect of damage to your vehicle that has not been recorded within the report. Please note that the Inter Terminal Transit System (monorail) will close to passengers on the 28th of September 2009. New shuttles will come into service in July 2010. A replacement bus service will run every three minutes during the day and every six minutes at night between the terminals. You should allow 20 minutes for the journey.

Information
If possible, please enter in all the relevant information at the time of booking, to ensure that your Meet and Greet is quick and simply. If you are bringing large items with you we suggest you check beforehand that your airline will accept them for carriage. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy, holds a valid MOT certificate and displays a valid road tax licence. Please note that all areas of Gatwick airport share a postcode, we advise you to carefully follow directions on arrival. Your car is parked five miles away from the airport.
Departure Procedures
You will have been given instructions when you meet the driver on your outbound departure. If you lose these instructions after your departure please call 01293 842903 when you are ready to leave the terminal and ask for instructions on where to meet the driver.
Disabled Facilities
The service is suitable for disabled passengers, but note that adapted vehicles cannot be accepted for safety reasons.
Maximum Car Size
Please note this car park cannot accept bookings for minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or trailers, even if multiple spaces are booked. There is a maximum height limit on all vehicles of 2.10m (7 ft).
Transfers
No transfers will be required as you are met at both ends of your journey at your airport terminal.

Insurance
Your vehicle is fully insured to be driven by Airparks members of staff. Parking is always at the vehicle owner's own risk.

Carpark Terms
Terms and conditions 1 What we can do We will take reasonable care of your vehicle for the period you have booked and paid for, starting from when you give us the keys to your vehicle. We will only be responsible where we are at fault. We can move vehicles to a secured parking site we choose within the area. We will provide a £10 meal voucher for each booking if we keep you waiting longer than one hour for transfers to and from the airport. If you park for longer than the period you have booked for, we will charge you the full daily price that applies at the time. We wilI consider your vehicle to have been abandoned if you do not claim it at the end of your booked period. We may then make legal arrangements for disposal to cover our costs. As a last resort this may mean selling your vehicle. We are not responsible for the following. - Matters that are covered by your car or holiday insurance. You must look to that for protection. - If you damage your vehicle while parking it, events outside our control or events you have not arranged insurance cover for or have insurance excesses for. - Mechanical failures, terrorism, catastrophe or criminal activity. - Any deterioration in the vehicle’s condition while it is with us. - Property left unattended on our site, courtesy vehicles and trailers, or items in your vehicle. - Any losses caused by you not leaving enough time for transfers to the airport. - Delays in collecting your vehicle caused by you losing the receipts or not having some other proper authority. - Claims you make after leaving the site. - Any consequential (indirect) losses. 2 What you must do Arrive in plenty of time, follow signs and park where we tell you to, and not cause an obstruction. Let us know if you have a disability and need help. Leave your vehicle keys with us so that we can move your vehicle. Tell us about any vehicle immobiliser, automatic security feature or modification for a disability. Remove all your belongings from the vehicle. Keep your luggage with you at all times. Hand the vehicle over to us in a roadworthy, safe and legal condition with full insurance. Drive slowly and carefully in the car park and keep children with you. The bus driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Please follow the driver’s instructions. Produce a receipt or some other proper authority when you come to collect the vehicle. We can refuse to hand over the vehicle if you cannot prove that you own it. Pay any parking charges due if you park longer than agreed. We can refuse to hand over the vehicle if you do not pay these charges. Check your vehicle carefully before leaving it with us.
