Airparks offer a fantastic meet and greet car parking service at Gatwick Airport. It's a stress-free way to arrive at the airport - especially if you are a large party or need a little extra help. Your car is parked for you with no need for time-consuming transfers. The car park holds the Park Mark award for safe parking and features CCTV, floodlighting and regular security patrols.

Parking Information

Airparks Meet and GreetAn Airparks driver will be waiting to greet you at a pre-arranged time at the designated meeting point at the terminal building - please ring if you are going to be late! Your car will then be taken away and parked for you, enabling you to proceed directly to check-in. The driver will also issue you with instructions for your return journey, when your car will be brought back to you at the terminal.

Security Measures


The compound where your car is stored has 24-hour security with CCTV, regular patrols and security barriers. This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. Park Mark awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.

Arrival Procedure


Your scheduled meet time at the terminal is the arrival time given to us when you made your booking. Please confirm with Airparks when you are within 20 minutes of arriving at your designated terminal. Phone 01293 842903 and your chauffeur will then be dispatched to meet you at your designated terminal. If you are arriving via the M25, please phone prior to taking the M23. It is important to keep Airparks informed of any delays. If you do not phone on your journey, the chauffeur will not be dispatched to meet you. If you have not given us the terminal information at the time of booking, please call 01293 842903 at least 24 hours before arrival. Please note that on meeting for departure, the driver will be required to complete a vehicle inspection report that identifies any damage or marks on your vehicle and you will be asked to sign the report. Your car will be checked by our staff and timed digital photographs will be taken of any marks or damage. Should you fail to leave adequate time to complete this process, Airparks cannot be held responsible for any claims in respect of damage to your vehicle that has not been recorded within the report.

Information


Your car will be parked at Airparks while you're on holiday. Airparks is three miles from the airport. If you're not able to give us all the information we ask for when you book, please make sure you supply the missing bits sometime before you go, to ensure that everything on the day is as quick and simple as possible. If you are bringing large items, remember to check with your airline that you will be able to take them on the plane. It's your responsibility to ensure that your car is roadworthy, has a valid MOT certificate and is displaying a valid tax disc. Unfortunately, you can't book our Meet and Greet package if your car has a taxi licence plate, as it can only be driven by the licence holder. If you're using a sat nav, make sure you enter the full address, not just the postcode, as the whole airport has the same postcode.

Departure Procedures


You will have been given instructions when you meet the driver on your outbound departure. If you lose these instructions after your departure please call 01293 842903 when you are ready to leave the terminal and ask for instructions on where to meet the driver. If you return earlier than planned, please contact the car park to ensure your car is ready for collection.

Disabled Facilities


The service is suitable for disabled passengers, but note that adapted vehicles cannot be accepted for safety reasons.

Maximum Car Size


Please note this car park cannot accept bookings for minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or trailers, even if multiple spaces are booked.

Transfers


No transfers will be required as you are met at both ends of your journey at your airport terminal.

Insurance


Your vehicle is fully insured to be driven by Airparks members of staff. Parking is always at the vehicle owner's own risk.

Trailer and Car


Trailers are not permitted in this car park.

Carpark Terms


Terms and conditions 1 What we can do We will take reasonable care of your vehicle for the period you have booked and paid for, starting from when you give us the keys to your vehicle. We will only be responsible where we are at fault. We can move vehicles to a secured parking site we choose within the area. We will provide a £10 meal voucher for each booking if we keep you waiting longer than one hour for transfers to and from the airport. If you park for longer than the period you have booked for, we will charge you the full daily price that applies at the time. We wilI consider your vehicle to have been abandoned if you do not claim it at the end of your booked period. We may then make legal arrangements for disposal to cover our costs. As a last resort this may mean selling your vehicle. We are not responsible for the following. - Matters that are covered by your car or holiday insurance. You must look to that for protection. - If you damage your vehicle while parking it, events outside our control or events you have not arranged insurance cover for or have insurance excesses for. - Mechanical failures, terrorism, catastrophe or criminal activity. - Any deterioration in the vehicle's condition while it is with us. - Property left unattended on our site, courtesy vehicles and trailers, or items in your vehicle. - Any losses caused by you not leaving enough time for transfers to the airport. - Delays in collecting your vehicle caused by you losing the receipts or not having some other proper authority. - Claims you make after leaving the site. - Any consequential (indirect) losses. 2 What you must do Arrive in plenty of time, follow signs and park where we tell you to, and not cause an obstruction. Let us know if you have a disability and need help. Leave your vehicle keys with us so that we can move your vehicle. Tell us about any vehicle immobiliser, automatic security feature or modification for a disability. Remove all your belongings from the vehicle. Keep your luggage with you at all times. Hand the vehicle over to us in a roadworthy, safe and legal condition with full insurance. Drive slowly and carefully in the car park and keep children with you. The bus driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Please follow the driver's instructions. Produce a receipt or some other proper authority when you come to collect the vehicle. We can refuse to hand over the vehicle if you cannot prove that you own it. Pay any parking charges due if you park longer than agreed. We can refuse to hand over the vehicle if you do not pay these charges. Check your vehicle carefully before leaving it with us.
