There are roadworks on the M8 White Cart Viaduct near Glasgow airport from now until the spring, and travellers are being warned that they may be delayed by up to an hour. There are lane closures and a 40mph limit, so you are advised to leave extra time for your journey.   The hotel is two and a half miles from the airport.   The earliest check-in time is 2pm and the latest check-out time is 11am.   Step into the warm and welcoming Steaks 'n' Stuff at the Normandy Hotel Glasgow airport, open the novel of a menu and try to decide what you'll have - after you've admired the bright artwork and many plants of course. Don't worry it's not just steaks, there's plenty of other stuff too, just as their name suggests. To start you can have sauteed French mussels, smoked bacon and black pudding platter or individual warrior haggis with neeps, tatties and a whisky. Then you could have a 10oz sirloin steak, a cajun chicken 12 inch pizza or grilled sea bass. For dessert they've got warm chocolate fudge cake, fresh fruit salad, homemade hot fruit crumble or a selection of cheeses. If only we could name all the dishes and desserts - you'll just have to see for yourself. The restaurant is open from 6pm to 9.45pm from Monday to Friday and from noon to 9.45pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Don't forget to pre-book your dinner at the same time as your room with Holiday Extras. Let the comfy soft chairs hug you as you sink into them in the lounge bar. The bar is just as brightly decorated as the restaurant, giving it a happy and welcoming feel. The lounge bar is open throughout the day and evening. Bar meals are served from noon to 10.30pm, and there's plenty to choose - soup of the day, baked potatoes, omelettes with various fillings, club sandwiches as well as normal sandwiches too.
