LU2 5LY Directions : The airport is only 2 miles from jct 10 of the M1 motorway and the route from this exit is well sign posted. If you are travelling via the M25 leave at Jct 21 and join the M1. Access from the East and the A1 (M) is via the A505 dual carriageway from Hitchin. The airport lies off the A505 and is clearly sign posted. Please allow extra time for your journey, due to roadworks on the M1. For further info go to www.highways.gov.uk PLEASE ARRIVE AT CAR PARK AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE CHECK IN
On arrival: Drive up to the entry barrier and press for a ticket. On your ticket will be printed your car registration and booking reference number. Once you have taken your ticket please enter the car park and follow the signs to the nearest available spaces. Make a note of where you have parked and the nearest bus stop if applicable. **THERE IS NO NEED TO INSERT YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THE BARRIER
On return: Return to your vehicle and make your way to the exit barrier. At the exit barrier please enter the ticket you took on arrival into the exit column. Providing you have not overstayed on your booking, the barrier will automatically raised. If any overstay fee is applicable this will be displayed on the exit column and can be paid by either debit card or credit card at this point. If you have not overstayed your booking times and a charge is showing, or if for any other reason the barrier does not raise please press the intercom for assistance and be ready to quote your booking reference number.
The courtesy bus to the car park can be found in the bus bays outside the terminal building marked MID TERM PARKING or GREEN car park.
The number of 24-hour periods charged for when you pre-book is calculated on the basis of the times you select when making your booking. However, if your actual entry and exit time changes and as a result your actual time in the car park runs into another 24-hour period you will be liable for an additional days charge at the drive-up tariff Distance from Airport : 2-5 Mins Transfer Frequency : Every 10 minutes Transfer charge : free of charge Arrival Procedure : On arrival: please drive up to the entry barrier and press for a ticket. Mid Term Car Park (Green)
At the car park entry barrier press the button for a ticket. The barrier will then raise to let you enter, then park in an available parking space. Car park has regular security patrols 24 hours a day as well as CCTV and automated entry/exit barriers.
