This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking as well as the ISO9001 certification providing an extremely secured environment in which to keep your car. This means that you are parking in a safe area that has been vetted by the police. Airparks Handforth Dean makes use of CCTV and floodlighting, as well as security fencing and barriers. Staff are also at the site 24 hours a day.

Arrival Procedure

On arrival the staff will request your reference number or ask for your confirmation in order to park your car for you. Hand the car park staff your keys and a fully insured driver will take your car and park it for you. You will then be able to catch a transfer bus to the terminal.

Information

We recommend that you allow 50 minutes from the time you arrive at the car park to the time you will reach the airport. Airparks is unable to carry bikes, surfboards, canoes or other large objects that will not fit into the luggage racks on its buses. If you are bringing large items with you we suggest you drop them off at the airport before parking your car. Remember to check beforehand that your airline will accept them for carriage. If this poses a problem for you then you may be interested in one of our excellent Meet and Greet services. Meet and Greet sees a designated driver meet you at the airport terminal and then drive your car to a secured location for the duration of your time away. This will allow you to take your large items of luggage straight into the airport terminal building without the need to carry them from the car park. Special Offer: On arrival at Airparks you will be offered a superb new service called Airparks Manchester Return Greet. Your car can be delivered back to the Airport terminal on your return from holiday, helping you on your way home. This service is subject to availability and the fee is payable direct to the car park on arrival. If your actual stay is longer than your booked stay, you will be charged extras on departure at the car park's standard daily rate. Please note: No refund will be issued for part used stays and any additional time will be charged at the local gate rate. An ideal choice if travelling from the south or east of Manchester airport. Airparks now offers a new increased frequency service to and from the airport using the brand new transport interchange. Customers are delivered to, and picked up from, the transport interchange. At the transport interchange there is easy access to the terminals using the high level covered walkways. By avoiding the congestion when at - and between - the terminals Airparks now provides a more frequent service with shorter waiting times at the car park and at the airport. The interchange is ideal for customers using terminals 1 and 2. The airport offers a shuttle bus from the inter-change to terminal three, as it is located a further distance away.

Departure Procedures

When you return simply wait where you were dropped off and the transfer bus will pick you up and transport you back to the car park. Your car will then be ready to pick up.

Maximum Car Size

There is a maximum height limit on all vehicles of 2.10m (7 ft). This car park cannot accept bookings for minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or trailers, even if multiple spaces are booked.

Airparks now offers a new increased frequency service to and from the airport using the brand new transport interchange as well as dropping at terminal 3. Customers are delivered to, and picked up from, the transport interchange for terminals 1 and 2 or outside terminal three if that is where you are traveling from. At the transport interchange there is easy access to the terminals using the high level covered walkways. By avoiding the congestion when at - and between - the terminals Airparks now provides a more frequent service with shorter waiting times at the car park and at the airport.

Terms and conditions 1 What we can do We will take reasonable care of your vehicle for the period you have booked and paid for, starting from when you give us the keys to your vehicle. We will only be responsible where we are at fault. We can move vehicles to a secured parking site we choose within the area. We will provide a £10 meal voucher for each booking if we keep you waiting longer than one hour for transfers to and from the airport. If you park for longer than the period you have booked for, we will charge you the full daily price that applies at the time. We wilI consider your vehicle to have been abandoned if you do not claim it at the end of your booked period. We may then make legal arrangements for disposal to cover our costs. As a last resort this may mean selling your vehicle. We are not responsible for the following. - Matters that are covered by your car or holiday insurance. You must look to that for protection. - If you damage your vehicle while parking it, events outside our control or events you have not arranged insurance cover for or have insurance excesses for. - Mechanical failures, terrorism, catastrophe or criminal activity. - Any deterioration in the vehicle’s condition while it is with us. - Property left unattended on our site, courtesy vehicles and trailers, or items in your vehicle. - Any losses caused by you not leaving enough time for transfers to the airport. - Delays in collecting your vehicle caused by you losing the receipts or not having some other proper authority. - Claims you make after leaving the site. - Any consequential (indirect) losses. 2 What you must do Arrive in plenty of time, follow signs and park where we tell you to, and not cause an obstruction. Let us know if you have a disability and need help. Leave your vehicle keys with us so that we can move your vehicle. Tell us about any vehicle immobiliser, automatic security feature or modification for a disability. Remove all your belongings from the vehicle. Keep your luggage with you at all times. Hand the vehicle over to us in a roadworthy, safe and legal condition with full insurance. Drive slowly and carefully in the car park and keep children with you. The bus driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Please follow the driver’s instructions. Produce a receipt or some other proper authority when you come to collect the vehicle. We can refuse to hand over the vehicle if you cannot prove that you own it. Pay any parking charges due if you park longer than agreed. We can refuse to hand over the vehicle if you do not pay these charges. Check your vehicle carefully before leaving it with us.
