The Warman's Barn is a refreshing change from the usual chain hotels you'll find at most airports. The hotel is actually a spin-off from the locally-renowned Ash gastropub and the rooms are over the road in an extension from the owner's home. You might well be personally shown over to the hotel by the staff and one of the owner's pets might come over to say hello on the way. Peaceful country surrounds and the phenomenal quality of the food will more than make up for spartan facilities and the 'no kids' policy will ensure there are no screaming children around to ruin the tranquil atmosphere.


Warman'sThis hotel does not allow children, so you must be over 18 to stay there.
Reception is in The Ash, the pub opposite the hotel, which means you need to check in before 10.30pm.
The hotel does not allow commercial vehicles to park on site.


LOCATION  The hotel is 6 miles from the airport.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT  You can check in from 2pm. You must check out by 10am.

RESTAURANT DETAILS  The hotel is actually an extension of the renowned Ash gastropub over the road. This quiet, informal country pub, a traditional haunt of WWII pilots, hides a stunning menu of delicious dishes that will top anything you'd expect from an airport hotel. You could start with homemade salmon, roasted pepper and tarragon fishcakes with sweet chilli sauce, followed by chicken and leek pie with mashed potato and garden peas, and then a sumptuous sherry trifle for dessert. If the weather's nice, you'll even be able to eat outside on the terrace.
Food is served from Monday to Thursday from 11am to 9.30pm, and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 10pm.
