Security Measures
Long Stay Stansted is fully secured and has CCTV, security fencing and lighting at night. It is manned 24 hours a day and there are regular site patrols. Long Stay Stansted has also been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To achieve the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police to prove that they have modern security measures and are clean and well-lit.

Arrival Procedure
The car park has an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system, so make sure you enter your vehicle registration number correctly when you make your booking. Please bring your booking confirmation to the car park. Drive up to the entry barrier. The machine will read and recognise your car registration number. This should take about 15 seconds. A ticket will be printed showing your booking reference and the barrier will lift. Park your car and transfer to the airport. Please note: If the barrier does not provide you with a ticket within 15 seconds, press the button for a ticket.

Information
Each transfer bus only goes to one area of the car park - red, yellow or blue - so make sure you get on the right bus. The bus stops outside the terminal are colour-coded, as are the car park tickets. Parking charges are calculated in periods of 24 hours, starting from the time when you arrive at the car park. If you stay for more days than you booked, you will be charged for the extra days at the car park's standard daily rate. If you stay for fewer days than you booked, you will not be given a refund.
Departure Procedures
If your ticket does not have your booking reference printed on it above the barcode, show your ticket and your booking confirmation to a parking attendant, or press the call button on the exit barrier for help. However, if your ticket does have your booking reference printed above the barcode simply drive to the exit barrier and insert your parking ticket into the machine.

Parking bays for Blue Badge holders are in zone Q. Use the help points at the bus stops to request a pick-up when you want to transfer to the terminal. The courtesy coaches are wheelchair accessible.
Maximum Car Size
High vehicles, oversized vehicles and vehicles with trailers should use zone Q.
Transfers
Transfers between Stansted Long Stay and the terminal are included in the price of your package. They run 24 hours a day every 20 minutes and take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. You should allow 45 minutes to check into the car park, park and transfer to the terminal.

Long Stay
On arrival at the car park enter the credit/debit card used to make your booking at the barrier and a ticket will be printed with your booking reference on it. Take this and park your car as directed by the signs. You may then take a courtesy transfer to the terminal; buses run every 20 minutes with a journey time of 15 minutes. On your return from your trip take a bus transfer back to the car park. To exit simply insert your entry ticket at the barrier, which should then rise to allow you to leave.
