As a small airport, you may think that Bournemouth won’t have a huge amount to offer in terms of facilities, but you’d be wrong.

And of course, WH Smith is always on hand to stock up on in-flight snacks, books, magazines and other travel necessities to make the flight go quicker.
Eating & Drinking
If you’re feeling peckish or a little parched, then you can take a load off and enjoy a choice of refreshments at Bournemouth Airport.
For a hot baguette or a healthy shake, visit Joe’s in the arrival hall before heading through security.
Or if you’d rather wait until you’re through to the departure lounge you can head to the Olive Tree for a hot meal and a refreshing glass of vino or pick up a pastry and an espresso from Italian EstPresso before hopping on board your flight.
Bournemouth Airport offer free access to Wi-Fi throughout the terminal and they have just recently doubled the user allowance from 30 minutes to 60, so there’s plenty of time to keep up to date with work emails or surf the net for things to do whilst you’re away.
However, they do offer the facility to extend Internet access if you need more than an hour, but at £5 per hour, it isn’t cheap!
If you need to get your hands on some local currency for your holiday destination, then you can do it at one of the Travelex ATM’s or stores at Bournemouth Airport.
They also offer a Click & Collect service, so you can pre-order your currency online and collect it the airport for a more convenient way to get your money.
Like most airports Bournemouth prohibits smoking anywhere inside the terminal building, but they do provide designated smoking areas outside the terminal building before heading through security, as well as a new airside smoking area in the departure lounge if you need it.
Car Parking at Bournemouth Airport
Bournemouth Airport, which is located on the edge of Hurn village in the Borough of Christchurch, provides a secure and convenient parking facility.
The Airport provides passengers with car parking within minutes of the terminal building, which means no need to worry about using a transfer service.
The airport does attract a lot of passengers each year and as such the airports car park does get booked up pretty quickly.
That means anyone looking to go on holiday using Bournemouth Airport and would like to park their car within 0.3 miles from the terminal, should book the airport car park sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
