Gatwick Car Parking ...

You can compare car park prices, locations, transfer times, security features and read customer reviews here. Just a few clicks and you've saved time and money before you've even left the house. Feels good, doesn't it?

Gatwick airport is one of the car park kings. The only parking problem you'll have is in choosing one. We've totted up all the features for you though, so all you'll need to do is glance down our checklist. Here's a quick summary for you: There are roughly as many on-site as there are off-site car parks, with plenty of Meet & Greet services at your disposal. On-site car parks all have the Parkmark Award. The off-site car parks are fairly nearby, and the ones furthest away are no more than a four-mile distance from the airport. Transfers vary between two minutes and 15, so wherever you park, you won't have long to wait before you're browsing the duty-free shelves.

It takes longer to write about the Long Stay Plus car park at Gatwick's South terminal than it does to park there. Mainly because you don't actually have to park - your car is parked for you, so you can hop straight on the transfer bus. And then, since the journey to the terminal's only two minutes long, hop straight off again. It's just as well that CCTV captures everything that goes on - it's all so quick, you might need proof that it really happened.

Arrival Procedures
On arrival the barrier will open automatically. Customers must then proceed to the reception where they will be asked to present their Holiday Extras booking confirmation. They will then hand in their car keys and be given a receipt. Your vehicle will be parked by our valet staff leaving you free to board the courtesy coach to the terminal.

Departure Procedures
On return, transfer buses will now pick up passengers from the South Terminal on the Upper forecourt. At the car park, go to reception with the receipt issued on entry and exchange this for your keys. Your car will be parked in a bay close by ready for you to exit the car park.

If you like to park close and keep your keys closer, the Gatwick Long Stay should be at the top of your list. It's the nearest long-term car park to the North terminal, and transfers to and from it take just 5 minutes. What's more, those who want to be in control will like the fact that you can park your car and keep your keys. Although the only problem you might have is remembering where you left it.

Arrival Procedures
Pull up to the barrier and it will automatically scan your registration, provide you with a ticket and lift to let you in. If a ticket is not dispensed, press the button. Follow signs for the open parking zone. When you’ve parked, we suggest you write the number of your space on the back of your ticket in case you forget. Catch a transfer bus to the terminal, where you will need to take the lift to your left to level 2 where you will find check-in.

Departure Procedures
Pass through security and follow signs for “buses and coaches”. Turn left and follow the more specific signs for “Buses/coaches to Long Stay car parks”. Wait for your bus at stop 1. Back at the car park, collect your car from where you left it and drive to the exit barrier. Insert your ticket into the barrier and the barrier will let you out. If you had to press the button to get a ticket on the way in, make sure you report to reception to have your parking validated before you leave. Don’t insert your debit or credit card to get out or you will be charged again for your parking. If you have any problems at the barrier, press the intercom button and speak to a member of staff.

Security
Long Stay North is protected by CCTV, entry and exit barriers, a fence, floodlighting and regular patrols by staff and Sussex police. It holds the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. You could say that the Long Stay is the designer label of parking - it's the official on-airport car park at Gatwick's South terminal. And you can see why it'd be up there with the top brands: it's won awards for its security, and transfers to the terminal take just five minutes and they run every 10 - so time will always be on your side. But if our word isn't a big enough endorsement, perhaps you could ask one of the 8,000-plus customers who said they'd book again …

Catch a transfer bus to the terminal, where you will need to head left, following the signs for departures. Take the moving walkway to check-in.

After you've collected your keys from reception, drive to the exit and scan the barcode attached to your keys at the exit barrier to get out.

If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. We can't offer you a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.

Security
Like all Airparks sites, Airparks Gatwick is fully secured, with CCTV, barriers, a high fence, lighting and regular patrols. All Airparks sites hold the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To be awarded the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police and show that they have good security measures and are clean and well-lit.

Transfer Information
The transfer bus runs to both terminals every 15 to 20 minutes and takes 5 minutes to get to the North terminal and 10 minutes to get to the South terminal. Transfers run 24 hours a day and are included in the price.

Disabled Information

With a booking at Airparks Gatwick we'll provide you with everything you need to ensure you enjoy a stress-free parking experience and help you to avoid any hitches on your travels. Because at one of the busiest international airports in the world getting stuck in traffic trying to find a parking space could end up meaning disastrous delays. Airparks is a fully secured Park Mark awarded site located just a ten minute bus transfer from the Gatwick terminals. An ideal location, low prices and top quality security facilities make Airparks Gatwick an ideal choice for just about anyone travelling out of Gatwick airport.

Arrival Procedures
Park in one of the arrivals bays, take note of the number and head to reception to check in. You'll need to present a copy of your booking confirmation, drop your keys in the red box for the correct number lane and you'll be given a ticket, which you should keep safe as you'll need it later. It will also have instructions on the back for when you return.
You car will be parked for you while you catch the bus from the waiting area to the airport. You'll need to show your ticket to the driver.
If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport.
If you can't wait for a less crowded bus or you're just running late, don't panic. Airparks Gatwick can take you and your luggage straight to the terminal in your own car, which a member of staff will then drive back to the car park and park for you as normal. This service is called Late To Airport and costs £30.

Departure Procedures
Catch the transfer bus from where you were dropped off. You'll need to show the ticket you were given at check-in to the driver. If you're at the South terminal, turn left out of the terminal and wait at bus stop 7 or 8, about 25 yards from the exit. If you're at the North terminal, turn right out of the terminal and follow signs for buses. Wait at bus stop 6 or 7.
After you've collected your keys from reception, drive to the exit and scan the barcode attached to your keys at the exit barrier to get out.

Security
This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment.

Transfer Information
Transfers operate 24 hours a day, taking only 10 minutes to the north terminal and 15 minutes to the south terminal.

The most popular car park meets the most convenient service. After collecting your car, your Airparks driver will take your car to Airparks - our most popular car park at Gatwick. It's just three miles from the terminal and has award-winning security. It's also a Gatwick Approved Parking Operator - which means it has been audited and inspected by the airport to ensure it meets customer service standards. They really know what they're doing, they've been doing it since 1978.

When you return, you'll step outside the terminal to find your car ready and waiting - and we're pretty sure that's why 98 per cent of our customers said they'd book again. One customer described the service as “excellent, totally reliable and does exactly what it says on the tin.” Click the review tab above to see what other customers are saying.

Arrival Procedures
Call 01293 842903 about 20 minutes before you arrive so that Airparks can dispatch their driver to meet you in the Approved Operator drop-off point at the terminal.

Make sure you give all your details to us on booking. If you have not, you will need to call Airparks at least 24 hours before you arrive to give them the information.
Airparks will be expecting you at the arrival time you listed on your booking. Your driver will have a photo ID and be wearing an Airparks uniform. An inspection will be carried out on your vehicle and photographs will be taken of any existing damage so there won't be any concerns on your return. Please make sure that you remove any key rings from your car keys.

Meet & Greet

Not required

Simply drive to departures, where you will be met by one of Airparks' friendly drivers. You can't miss them - they'll be wearing an Airparks uniform and a smile. You'll give them your keys and check over the car together. That's it, there's nothing more for you to do.

Your driver will park your car for you while you catch your flight.
