Long Stay

Is it enough to know that Long Stay is our only Edinburgh airport car park that's within the airport grounds? Or shall we add that it's just two minutes from the terminal on the transfer bus? Convenience isn't the only reason to book Edinburgh Long Stay, though - it's also fully secured, with CCTV, barriers and a fence. Oh, and did we mention the great prices?

Arrival Procedures

When you arrive at the car park, just press the button at the barrier and you will be issued with a ticket. If a ticket is not issued or the barrier does not raise, press the intercom button and a member of the car park's team will help you. Then, just pull into any one of the available bays and park your car. You'll need to hold on to your ticket and make a note of the nearest bus stop so you can find your car when you return.

When you're ready to leave, just hop on the transfer bus to the airport. It runs every 10 minutes and takes just 2 minutes to reach the terminal.

Departure Procedures

When you land, just grab your bags and head outside to catch the free bus back to the car park. It runs every 10 minutes and takes just 2. When you get back to your car, just pull up to the exit barrier, insert your ticket and wait for it to lift. Then, you're free to head home!

Security

The car park has CCTV in use, as well as fencing and regular security patrols for added peace of mind.

Transfer Information

The shuttle bus to and from the terminal runs every seven minutes between 5am and 11.30pm, takes two minutes and is free.

Disabled Information

There are disabled parking bays by the exit, next to the customer services office. The transfer buses are wheelchair-accessible.

Directions

- Exit the M9 at junction 1 and join the A8/Glasgow Road heading towards the airport.
- Take the exit for the airport, then take the second exit at the roundabout onto Eastfield Road.
- At the next roundabout, take the second exit and continue along the road.
- Pass the Hilton on your right, then, take the third exit at the roundabout.
- Long Stay parking will be in front of you.

Going - Not easy to find. Easy to park and find a bus. Coming home - In dark rolled trolly bag over deep mud and wheels covered in dirt. Made a mess in boot. Getting out of car park receptionist at desk not very pleasant because I did not have ticket from entry. He did not need to be so grumpy as it was obviously no trouble to check my details and let me out. Last thing I needed after a long and uncomfortable flight late at night.I would think twice about leaving my car there again.
