Security At UK Airport Car Parks
Obviously airport security is very tight and there's no exception when it comes to parking at airports. Both on and off airport parking compounds have to meet certain levels of security and this criteria is often set by the police.
In general there are no differences in the levels of security between on and off car parks but it's probably safe to say that those parking lots inside the actual airport compound will be slightly safer for obvious reasons.
Security Features
For your complete peace of mind all car parks have the latest security features such as CCTV, 24 hour guard patrols, secure fencing and controlled entry and exit.
All of these are major considerations when booking airport parking and by using our site you can view all of this information right in front of you. You can rest assured that your vehicle is in safe hands while you're away.
Park Mark
Many car parks also have the "Park Mark" award from the Association of Chief Police Officers. This is a safer parking scheme which is only awarded to parking facilities which have measures in place to ensure a safe environment and to those which have been risk assessed by the Police.
When booking you'll notice that nearly all car parks compared on our website offer more than the usual level of security for your car.
