Away with the Kids for a Truly Child Friendly Getaway.

If you have kids and have been away on holiday with them we’re sure you will have at some time ended up in a resort, hotel, villa, cottage, b&b etc.. which just wasn’t child friendly!

Don’t despair, there just happens to be two very clever women who have created a real “go to” website for anybody with kids looking for real child friendly accommodation which the whole family can enjoy.

Jo & Helen two regular mums, set up the Away with the Kids website in January 2009 out of a frustration at trying to find and research suitable places to stay which ticked all the required boxes for families.

Their website http://www.awaywiththekids.co.uk not only looks fantastic it manages to give you a real feel for all of the property types on show with plenty of photos, reviews and accommodation information which you can just tell is fantastically researched.

What we especially like about the site is the “Accommodation by Type” search option. It really does make the whole process of finding the right place so easy. Plus everything is so easy to read and well laid out, for example the handy “Things to do Nearby” option when you’re looking at a specific property is great.

This family inspired travel directory highlights not only child friendly accommodation but equally parent friendly places to stay - places that are equipped with baby equipment, black out blinds and blenders and things to keep children happy such as toys, books, CBeebies, games and outdoor play areas, as well as comfy beds, fine linen, fluffy towels, wi-fi, fully equipped cottages with meal delivery or hotels with a fantastic restaurant and spa - things that all of the family will appreciate.

Ranging from campsites through to five star luxury the site offers accommodation for all tastes and across budgets to meet any urge for a break - a full blow out family holiday or a sneaky weekend break with the kids.

Away With the Kids, really do go that extra mile when finding truly child friendly holiday accommodation either in the UK or abroad. After reading through the website for an hour or so we were left with a real confident feeling that whatever we chose to book would be exactly as it was displayed on the site.

It really is quite rare that you find a website which you can just tell is written from a real drive to deliver a product/service which will genuinely help and please people. Not just that, there is a real passion about what Jo and Helen do, well done.
