A and J Taxis Truly Are Door to Door!

We’re sure you’ve all heard stories about various airports in the UK charging crazy prices for dropping off. This led to a lot of people being dropped off outside the airport and having to walk the rest of the way to departures.

Taxi companies also found themselves dropping their clients off outside the airport or at one of the car parks which meant a bit of a walk for those going on holiday. See our post about this at Leeds Bradford airport.

Liverpool Airport

We’ve found out about a unique taxi company which is the only taxi firm authorised to drop off virtually right outside the main door to the airport.

A and J Taxis can literally take you ‘door to door’, something no other taxi company in Liverpool can do. they are authorised to drop you off and bus stand number 3 which is literally no more than ten paces from the main door.

Other taxi firms have to drop their passengers off at either the FREE car park which is a good 5 minute walk or the SHORT STAY which will cost £2 per vehicle for 20mins and is across the road from the terminal building .

Under normal circumstances a five minute walk is no big deal but maybe not when its raining and you’ve got all your luggage and the kids with you. Not the best starts to your holiday!

Get a taxi from the bus stop!

Another unique point about A and J Taxis is their shared Taxibus style ride from Liverpool city centre to JLA . What this means is that you can share a taxi ride from the 1A bus stop instead of getting on the bus.
