RyanairRyanair Says Sorry After Crew Member’s Comment We Don’t Want To Die Becomes A Hit On YouTube.

Low-cost airline Ryanair, who has been trying hard to clean up their image has said sorry after one of its crew members joked “we don’t want to die”, on loud speaker after a flight was delayed due to ice on the wing.

In a time when the UK government have told holidaymakers to be on their guard due to terrorist attacks, the comment did not go down well on board the flight from Glasgow to Dublin.

The passengers on board the flight, which had already been delayed for several hours, were quite shocked when the announcement was made.

Ryanair Comments

A spokesman from Ryanair, who said they were shocked with the comment and have apologised, said they would be speaking to the crew member that made the joke.

Customer Complaints

Ryanair customers have now called for the crew member to be sacked while other people have said she should be given a final written warning and removed from cabin crew duty.

What may have been said as a joke shows the level of maturity of the crew member in a time when a lot of people are worried about flying due to the recent shocking terrorist attacks.

Youtube Video

On the video clip, which was filmed by a passenger and shared on social media, a woman can be hard saying the plane could not take off due to ice on the wind, where she then added, “we don’t want to die”.

Watch the video and let me know what you think of the comment. Visit our official Facebook page and let me know if you think the woman concerned should be sacked.

UK Airport Car Parks Comments

Personally here at UKACP we don’t think the stewardess should be sacked, that would be making too much of a big deal of things. It was a really stupid thing to say, especially because there could have been children on board.

A strongly worded written warning should be enough in our view.
