Shopping, Eating & Drinking at the Airport

With a good selection of shops and eateries, passengers flying out from Belfast International Airport will have plenty to see and do to pass the time.
Once through security you can hit the shops, from Swarovski crystals to Gucci fashion, there’s plenty to keep the ladies occupied.
Head to Traveller for all the latest fashion trends in clothing, footwear and accessories, or browse the shelves at Aelia Duty Free, which literally has it all, from fragrances and cosmetics, spirits and tobacco to designer clothing, jewellery and bags.
Don’t worry if there’s any essentials you’ve forgotten for your trip, you can head to Superdrug, where you can even pre-order baby infant milk to collect before you fly.
We suggest the men relax with a pint in The Lagan Bar. You’ll be able to catch the footie here if there are any matches on and get some decent grub.
If you’re not up for watching the footie or just fancy something different there are other food and beverage options, which include The Stangford Grill, Fed & Watered, Burger King and Starbucks. You should definitely be able to find something to suit everyone.

Smoking at the Airport
Smoking costs you at Belfast Airport. You can smoke for free before you head through to the departure lounge, at one of the designated smoking areas outside the terminal building.
But if you can’t wait until you land at the other end, you have the option to at the airside smoking facility beside The Lagan Bar, but just remember you’ll need to have £1 handy to use gain access.

Car Parking at Belfast Airport
At Belfast airport you can either park off the airport or on it. There's the official Long Stay parking option which is walking distance to departures. Then there are a few off site options for you which are no more than a 5 minute transfer away.
All have high levels of security and all have disabled facilities.

Hotels at Belfast Airport
At Belfast airport you can expect to find hotels to suite all types of travellers with budgets at both ends of the scale. For a start there is the Hilton Templepatrick hotel with spa, multiple restaurants, health club and it's own 18 hole golf course.
If you're not looking to spend so much on a hotel then you could try the Holiday Inn Express which is also ideal for families.

We definitely recommend checking your emails before leaving for the airport! Internet access at Belfast International Airport isn’t cheap. There’s no option of free Wi-Fi here, but if you really do need to log on you have the option of £5.99 for 90 minutes of internet access or £9.99 for a day.
