Helpful Humberside Airport Information
Humberside Airport is yet another small airport that caters well for all travellers, despite its size.
The great thing about smaller airports like Humberside, is that you have everything you need to get ready for your trip all within a convenient distance to one another, so you don’t have to traipse for miles to get your money exchanged and have a bit to eat before heading to the departure gate.
With a comprehensive selection of shops, money exchange outlets, travel agents, a restaurant and bars, you won’t be disappointed.
You will find pretty much everything you need in the shops at Humberside Airport. Head to the standard WH Smith for a decent read or some snacks to munch on during the flight or why not delve into some Tax Free Shopping at Alpha Airport Shopping – World Duty Free.

Eating & Drinking
If you’re looking to fill your tummy before you fly then you’ll have plenty to choose from, including baguettes, paninis and jacket potatoes, at The Restaurant. Although, it’s located before security, so you’ll have to grab a bite before you head through.
However, if you’re looking to sit and relax with a drink, then there are bars located both before and after security, so getting that pre-flight pint will be a breeze.
If you can’t live without Internet access for too long, then you’re in luck as Humberside Airport do offer a period of free Wi-Fi for all airport users. But you’d better make updating your Facebook status or checking those emails quick as the free allowance only extends to 30 minutes, after which charges apply.
Having said that, they do offer a range of variable pay-as-you-go tariffs, so depending on your usage requirements, you can still get good value for money.
At the Airport Tip
Inevitably at the airport, you will have to queue at some point, but you can reduce some of that by using the Humberside Airport Express Check-in service.

Although, if you’re not a big fan of self-service checkouts in Asda and Tesco, this service probably isn’t for you!
