Helpful Luton Airport Information

This is why we’ve put together a Luton Airport guide, so you know exactly what to expect when you arrive, from the shops, restaurants and cafes through to bureau de changes and Wi-Fi allowances.
Luton has plenty on offer for travellers in terms of facilities and lots to keep you entertained while you wait. You can even get a 15-minute manicure in the departure lounge.

Airport Shopping
For those looking to while away the time with some retail therapy, you’ve come to the right airport and the layout is incredibly easy to navigate too.
The arrivals hall has a handy WH Smith, Voyager, M&S Simply Food and International Currency Exchange (ICE) kiosk where those who are really unprepared can stock up on last minute travel essentials and get those pounds changed before heading through security.
The Departure Lounge is where you can really go crazy, with designer brands like Kurt Geiger, Havianias, MAC and Victoria’s Secret, as well as high street brands like JD Sports, Accessorize, Rolling Luggage and Hotel Chocolat.
Not only that, but Aelia Duty Free shop is home to plenty of great offers on designer brands, fragrances, skincare, spirits and wines and much more. Plus the great thing about Luton Airport is that also offer a Shop & Collect service, so you can buy before you fly and pick it up on your way home!
There’s also the opportunity to get your nails done at Cloud Nails, so you can have the perfect pre-holiday pedicure. There’s also a Boots, WH Smith and Dixons, so if there’s any necessities you haven’t managed to fit in your suitcase, you can stock up here and take it in your hand luggage instead.

Eating & Drinking
If eating & drinking are more your thing, then there’s an abundance of choice here too, before and after security. Before security you can enjoy delights from The Great British Sausage Company, Upper Crust, Costa, Caffé Nero and Burger King, as well as a choice of fresh food at the Food Village or alcoholic beverages at Bar Des Voyageurs.
After security, there’s everything from Krispy Kreme donuts to Pip, Est Bar to Bar 10, Frankie & Bennies to Kitchen & Bar, as well as Pret A Manger, Starbucks and Benugo.
Driving to Luton Airport
London Luton Airport is easy to get to, but as with all airports it is important to add extra time to your travel in case of built up traffic. The airport is located just south of Luton.

Lost Property
For people wishing to enquire about lost luggage, they should go to the arrivals lounge in the main terminal building. The contact number for lost property at Luton Airport is, +44 (0) 1582 395219.

Travel Money
It is important to make sure you purchase your travel money before arriving at the airport. Although there are a number of travel money facilities, you will get a lot less for your money than you would if you used a high street travel money shop or travel agent.
If you have forgotten to change your travel money then there are four Bureaux de Change in the Check In Concourse. For people who would like extra travel money, then there are four ATMs, located throughout the check-in area in the main Terminal building.
Mobile Phone Charging
Luton Airport has over 400 sockets that can be used for charging devices. These are located in the main Terminal. Just find a spare one and plug in!

Airport Lounges
You may find you need somewhere to relax and get away from all the hustle and bustle of the departure lounge, so why not head to the Aspire Lounge, where you can watch it all from afar.
Passengers can also tuck into a wide range of complimentary snacks, hot food, alcoholic and soft drinks and take advantage of the changing facilities, free Wi-Fi and charging facilities for laptops, phones etc.

Car Parking at Luton Airport
Luton Airport offers a range of parking packages including on-site and off-site parking as well as a Meet and Greet service. The airport car parks at Luton are known to be some of the best in the country.
Most of them have received the Park Mark award, which is a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers.
The Luton Airport on-site parking facilities are around ten minutes away on a free shuttle service that runs 24 hours a day. The off-site car parks are around 15 minutes away on the free shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes.

Hotels at Luton Airport
Luton Airport offers a wide range of airport hotels that allow business travellers and holidaymakers to relax before their flight.
The popular Luton Airport hotels include the four-star Holiday Inn that has a number of facilities including a bar, swimming pool, restaurant, and Internet and Wifi access. Also available is the Aubrey Park Hotel that provides on-site parking and transfers to and from Luton Airport.

Wi-Fi
At Luton Airport you can enjoy 30 minutes free Wi-Fi which is available throughout the terminal, but if you want to do anything more than a quick status update on Facebook or briefly check your emails, do it before you travel. At £3 per hour, it’s a little expensive.
