Driving to the Airport
The post code for Manchester Airport is M90 1QX. The airport is located via the M56 at Junction 5. The M56 is accessible from the M6 and M60, allowing easy access for people travelling from the North or South.

Smoking at the Airport
Manchester Airport has a strict policy of not allowing electronic cigarettes to be used indoors in any of their buildings. For people wanting to have a cigarette, there are smoking areas outside all three terminals.
In Terminal 1 there is an outdoor smoking area, which can be accessed from the food court.
In Terminal 2, the outdoor smoking area is located at gate 300.

Car Parking at Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport has one of the largest airport parking solutions in the UK. They have a range of parking options, which include on-site parking, off-site parking and a Meet and Greet service.
If you require being as close to the terminal as possible and do not want to use the free shuttle service, then you can choose the short stay car park where the terminal is within walking distance.
Other on-site car parks are available, which are no more than around 7 minutes transfer time on the free shuttle bus.
However, if you choose to use one of the off-site car parks then the transfer time will be a little longer, but will not take more than fifteen minutes.
