APH

Secured car park, efficient service and friendly team. No hunting for a space.

Covid-secure

The team at APH has introduced a whole host of measures designed to make your experience as safe and contact-free as possible.

At reception you'll see perspex screens and hand sanitiser will be available for you to use. The shuttle buses will be cleaned and sanitised more regularly and there will be fewer people to encourage social distancing.

Need to know

Drive to the car park and park in one of the arrivals bays, head to reception to check your car in and hand over your keys. You'll be given a card which will include instructions for your return.

Then, catch the included shuttle bus to the terminal. It runs every 10-15 minutes, 24 hours a day and takes 15-20 minutes.

On your return follow the instructions on the card and take the shuttle bus back to the car park. Collect your keys from reception and you can drive home.

Accessibility

The shuttle bus is wheelchair friendly and if you need special assistance, the car park can help - just give them a call beforehand to let them know.

Security

The car park is secured by:

  • CCTV
  • Floodlighting
  • 24-hour staff patrols
  • Entry and exit barriers

The small print

Government regulations require passengers on shuttle buses to wear a face covering. Remember to bring a face covering and have it on before you get on the bus. You'll need one for each member of your party.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £5. This is subject to change.

Help us go green! There's no need to print out your booking confirmation, just show it on your mobile device or even better try out our handy app.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Bikes, surfing/windsurfing boards or items of a similar size can't be taken on the shuttle bus.

We recommend allowing at least 45 minutes (extra during peak periods) from the time you check your car in to getting to the airport, just in case of delays.

Arrival Procedures

Once you've parked, head to reception with your confirmation or booking reference, car registration, return flight details and car keys. Reception will take your keys to park your car for you. You'll be given a number to call when you're back to arrange your shuttle back to the car park. Once you've checked in, take the bus to the airport. Buses run every 10 to 15 minutes and take 15 to 20 minutes to arrive at the terminal.

Departure Procedures

Follow the information on the card you were given when you checked your car in on arrival to arrange a collection from the terminal. Catch the bus back to the car park, collect your keys from reception and make your way home.

Security

The car park has CCTV, entrance and exit barriers, security lighting, fencing, 24-hour security patrols and the Park Mark award.

Disabled Information

Transfer buses have disabled access and are fully-equipped to accommodate wheelchairs. In special circumstances additional help can be arranged. Call us on 0800 093 5478 and one of our team will contact the car park to make the arrangements for you.

Streetview is a Google service and in most cases we are able to instantly show you the exact location you are looking for. However, sometimes some manual navigation will be required to, say for example find the car park entrance or the front of the hotel.
