Covid-secure

The ShortRun team have introduced a whole host of measures designed to make your journey as safe and contact-free as possible.

All drivers will be wearing masks and you'll be asked to wear a face covering too. Buses are cleaned with sanitiser throughout the day (with a deep clean in the evening) and there'll be fewer passengers per bus, but don't worry, they are still delivering the swift and efficient service they are famous for.

Need to know

ShortRun by Airparks is one of our most recommended car parks at Birmingham airport thanks to the excellent service you'll receive there and its proximity to the terminal it's a 5-minute bus ride.

When you arrive a member of ShortRun's friendly team will meet you, check you in and let you know where to park - you won't even need to get out of your car. You'll receive a ticket telling you what to do when you return, so keep it safe as you'll need to show it to the bus driver when you get back.

Catch the shuttle bus once you've parked, it runs on request, 24 hours a day. It takes 5 minutes to reach the terminal, plus it's included in the price.

When you return just catch the bus from where it dropped you off, all you need to do is show the driver your ticket and you're away!

Accessibility

ShortRun have 6 accessible spaces which work on a first come, first served basis (you don't need to leave a copy of your Blue Badge). If you need a Blue Badge space add a comment to your booking, and call the car park directly 24 hours before you go, so they can make sure there is space or try and get you as near as possible to where you get the bus.

The small print

Government regulations require passengers on shuttle buses to wear a face covering. Remember to bring a face covering and have it on before you get on the bus. You'll need one for each member of your party.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £15 a day. This is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or vehicles with 8 or more seats) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2.1m barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
