Is it enough to know that Edinburgh Long Stay is our only Edinburgh airport car park that's within the airport grounds? Arrival Procedures

When you arrive at the car park, just press the button at the barrier and you will be issued with a ticket. If a ticket is not issued or the barrier does not raise, press the intercom button and a member of the car park's team will help you. Then, just pull into any one of the available bays and park your car. You'll need to hold on to your ticket and make a note of the nearest bus stop so you can find your car when you return.

When you're ready to leave, just hop on the transfer bus to the airport. It runs every 10 minutes and takes just 2 minutes to reach the terminal.

Departure Procedures

When you land, just grab your bags and head outside to catch the free bus back to the car park. It runs every 10 minutes and takes just 2. When you get back to your car, just pull up to the exit barrier, insert your ticket and wait for it to lift. Then, you're free to head home!

Security

The car park has CCTV in use, as well as fencing and regular security patrols for added peace of mind.

Transfer Information

The shuttle bus to and from the terminal runs every seven minutes between 5am and 11.30pm, takes two minutes and is free.

Disabled Information

There are disabled parking bays by the exit, next to the customer services office. The transfer buses are wheelchair-accessible.

Insurance

The car park indemnifies customers for damage resulting from any proven act or negligence on part of its servants or agents, otherwise parking is at owners own risk.

Edinburgh airport is easily reached via the A8 Glasgow Road, accessible either from Edinburgh town centre or junction 1 of the M9 motorway. This page gives a detailed map and directions for Edinburgh Long Stay parking.

Exit A8 Glasgow Road at airport junction following signs on the roundabout for airport.
Continue along Eastfield road to the second roundabout and take the third exit (Eastfield Avenue) sign posted Long Stay parking.
Pass the Hilton hotel on the right and at the next roundabout take the second exit.
The Edinburgh Long Stay car park entrance is located approximately 500 yards on the left.

Good generally, but on this occasion big problem with capacity on the pick up bus - two full buses went past without stopping, meaning additional delay of almost 25 minutes - is this due to the fact that this carpark/bus is now also doing the free drop off service?? If so bus capacity needs to increase at peak times....
