POD Parking Terminal 5

There's no playing games with this business-like parking service, just 8 minutes from check-in.

It's a swift entrance at Heathrow's Business parking. Simply pull up to the automatic number plate recognition barrier and glide straight through.

You'll be wearing the trousers with this service - there are plenty of spaces, so you can choose exactly where to park.

And, for added peace of mind, you'll keep hold of your keys. So your car will stay exactly where you left it.

Rest assured, your car will be well looked after while you're away. The car park has CCTV and regular staff patrols.

Best of all, this amazing high-tech service has its own little "pods" that run on a monorail track from the car park to the terminal. The journey takes 2 minutes and it's free with this package. You can sit back and relax in privacy while the driverless pod escorts you right to check-in. Don't relax too much though, as you're monitored on CCTV for your safety. You can even get in touch with the operators at any time.

This car park is especially perfect for wheelchair users or travellers with mobility issues as there are no steps up to or down from the pods. You can go straight from car park to check-in with no trouble.

Just to let you know, Terminal 1 is closing from the 29 Jun 15.[/date]

Arrival Procedures

The car park has an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system, so make sure you enter your vehicle registration number correctly when you make your booking.
When you arrive at the car park, drive up to the barrier. Your number plate will be read and recognised and a ticket showing your booking reference will be issued. If the ticket is not issued automatically, press the button for a ticket. Go to the zone indicated and park your car.

Departure Procedures

Catch the next Heathrow Pod from the airport back to the car park and collect your car. The bus stop is marked POD Parking and is outside the valet parking office.
If your ticket has your booking reference printed on it, drive to the exit and insert the ticket into the barrier. If your ticket does not have your booking reference on it, go to the customer service exit lane and show the ticket, quoting your booking reference.

POD Parking Heathrow is manned 24hrs, frequently patrolled and enclosed by security fencing. Comprehensive CCTV in place.

Transfer Information

A Heathrow Pod will transfer you to the airport within one to two minutes. Transfers are included in the price and are available 24 hours a day. The Pods run on demand only between 1am and 4am.

Disabled Information

Parking bays for Blue Badge holders situated near entrance. Wheelchair access on courtesy coaches.

Streetview is a Google service and in most cases we are able to instantly show you the exact location you are looking for. However, sometimes some manual navigation will be required to, say for example find the car park entrance or the front of the hotel.
